Clancy off the wall

I’m a bit distracted in the past fortnight. I’ve made a couple of mistakes. The biggest was playing music too loud (for my tinnitus, not for the neighbours), and now I’m paying the price. It’s bad, and very distracting. I’ve been staring at my fingers tapping gently on the keyboard, wondering if I’m going to wake up from this nightmare anytime soon. There’s no flow anymore. Instead of a-b-c-d-e-f-g, it’s a-oh-that-tinnitus-is-loud-b-cripes-it-almost-hurts-c-it’s-not-going-away-is-it-d-oh-man-what-a-life-e-please-god-do-something-about-this-f-we-all-know-what-that-letter-stands-for-g-it’s-all-over-isn’t-it?
