The problem with me?

This might appear out of order. I might shift this one up in the queue, just because it fits well in exploring the personal, which I think I’ve decided I’m not going to be able to escape, and is somewhat a marker of the times we are living in. I think I said at the start of my blogging journey, I don’t know what personality is. That can’t be true – obviously, but what is true, is I haven’t fully explored it, and what I have explored I’m not certain about. In addition, I’m just not so sure if I can trust what other people say of themselves.

We have a huge problem, which I introduced in a previous post, that we can personify a rock. In a movie, a coconut was personified – I believe it’s “Cast Away” (2000). One of the unsurprising things then, about AI usage, is the humanisation of the computer. What has surprised me, is the surprised reaction people have had to this already well described phenomenon. That’s what unsettles me, that’s what causes me to be suspicious of people.
